Hi Dennishia, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
As a new up & coming entrepreneur in the beauty market it is very scary to put yourself out there; when you’re just starting out everything can seem so overwhelming but I knew early on that once I completed Esthetics school I wanted to be a solo entrepreneur. With that in mind I knew I would have to take a risk on myself; and I wholeheartedly bet on me everytime! I love what I do so I know that taking this risk as a solo entrepreneur is a success in the making. You can never go wrong when you’re doing what you love!

What should our readers know about your business?
Here at Skin Freak Esthetic Studio our goal is to educate clients on their skin, while implementing healthy skincare routines. My Mission is to empower my clients to be confident about their skin, while maintaining their skincare goals. Become obsessed with your skin! I love that my profession helps build the confidence of someone else. When you look good you feel good!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a foodie & Plant person. I love to try different foods from different cultures; although my favorite meal is brunch. My favorite brunch place to visit is “the Beehive Restaurant & Bar” located in Dallas, Tx. I love aesthetic and it was such a soft pretty place to eat but also snap it up. For Plants I love to visit the “lonestar Flower Market” & that makes up a great day in my book.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a big shoutout to my loved ones, my partner, & my friends. When your starting out it can be discouraging at times and it takes a lot of consistent work. I’m thankful for their continuous support whether it’s sharing a post, practicing a service, or just a encouraging word it all goes along way with me.
