Meet Crystal Sardaneta | Owner & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Sardaneta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Crystal, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind our success is FAMILY. When I had the idea to start this business I had just felt the COVID-19 effect like many. My position was eliminated and for the first time in many many years I was unsure what I wanted my next step to be. I had a 17 year career in corporate retail and although successful, I missed so many important events with my family. I sat down with my husband and my older children(18 and 16) and talked with them about how I wanted to start a new journey. They were so supportive and jumped right on board. We work together for each event from planning to setup to follow up and I truly could not do this full time without their support.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We just celebrated our one year anniversary and I have to say that it has been a challenge to learn the ropes of entrepreneurship. There were times that I wanted to give up but I just kept remembering my fathers story. He came to the United States in his early 20’s and a few years later started his own business. He built a loyal clientele by always going above and beyond for every job, having open communication and always being honest. I use that as my motivation to continue to work on improving our service and networking with my peers to grow the company. There are so many amazing small business owners in the DFW area and the support we have received along with the greatest clients is what makes this journey so exciting!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many amazing places in DFW to choose from but I would have to say one of my absolute favorite places is the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. Its so peaceful and whether you are going to have a picnic with a friend or just take a quiet walk, you won’t leave disappointed. From there a trip to the Water Gardens is a must, its always picture perfect! For dinner we would have to end with Mi Ranchito in Arlington. The food combined with the live mariachi music and great drinks makes it a must do for any visit! A trip to Old Town Grapevine for shopping and drinks and the Gaylord resort to relax by the pool would end the week with a bang!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband! He didn’t really understand my vision when we first started but no matter what he has been supportive and by my side every step of the way.
