We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Rojas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cindy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I, like a lot of women in this world, underwent a marriage I was no longer happy in, I was a mother to beautiful children that needed me and demanded my attention. With all these mundane responsibilities in mind, I knew I had to step it up as a women that I am, and manifest my best life. This included my own brand and business. My personal life inspired my entrepreneurial journey and changed my outlook and perspective towards life and business as well. I have been able to utilize what I have learned as a mother and everything else that I am outside of my business, as a tool and resource for my brands growth and expansion, from employing, firing, and everything in between. It has been a beautiful journey.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Queens Beauty is an all inclusivity brand for anybody looking to express themselves through make up. Expression is healing, and healing leads to happiness and success. And it’s totally what we stand by at Queens Beauty. WE not only provide environmental safe products, but we also supply some of the best quality product there is in the market. We work with some of the leading manufactures in the industry to compose products that are lasting and luxurious.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start off on a Saturday at the Dallas Farmers Market, enjoy some vegan goodies and support all the local vendors. A spa date a Verbenas Nail Parlor is always a most weekly. After pampering ourselves, we would make our way to TLC Vegan Kitchen In Garland to enjoy some of Chefs Troy amazing plant based dishes. The Dallas Orchestra is once again open after covid, we would get dolled up and make our way to the Dallas Symphony Center and enjoy some classical vibrational music, my favorite. To end the night, we would take a stroll down Deep Ellum, which is close by and grab a late night dessert at Voodoo Donuts.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think I owe my success to not just one person but to a group of individuals that have uplifted me and supported me in my every move. My parents, whom I adore and look up to, have been one of my bigger motivators aside from my children. They have been the support system entrepreneur and single mother needs. My children constantly remind me why I initiated this journey and why I continue to strive for success and abundance in every area of my life. My team, Katherine Salas who made this happen and many other amazing possibilities for me. I am beyond grateful for every platform that has open their doors to us. It truly takes a team to achieve greatness in business. I have learned humbleness and when to hire and ask for help when needed. It is something I truly believe is necessary when you start your own brand. Lastly, I would like to shout out all my clients and my friends. They are the MVPs that make this happen. I am honored I get to do what I love everyday!
