We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Parham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christopher, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Worked a corporate job for almost 10 years. My last straw was when I got passed over on a promotion. I was doing security part time mostly on the weekends but at that moment I wanted to take it on an even bigger scale. My biggest thing was I didn’t want to give anyone that power over me again.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets Secure Aspiration LLC apart is how we go about protecting what’s most important to you. The best way to get to know someone is by time spent and really investing yourself into there life. Most of my clients truly become like family because If I’m putting my life on the line for yours it has to be that element to it so its very authentic and genuine. My proudest moments would be seeing other young men development under our company and either starting there own or fully investing their selves into a client. That lets me know we are doing something correctly. Nothing in this process was easy. I struggled my first year in the business. I remember being down and out with limit resources. I said a lil prayer and went to an event center I was working at. That night I met someone that begin to introduce me to the right people and eventually landed me D.C. young fly as a client as well as Bill Bellamy. From there I have been trying to change the narrative on security here in Dallas Texas. Lessons I would teach is always get things in writing, and don’t be scared to ask for what you feel like you are worth out here. If you don’t value you no one else will. We are just hard working men that just want to obtain one goal at the end of the night. That goal is to get you back safely to your family. At the end of the day that is all that truly matters to me and my staff.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Say my best friend was coming in on a Friday night I would pick him up from the airport. I would make a call to a client of mine named Chef Kev. Hey Kev its me and one other coming to eat do you have room. He would tell me he always has room for me and we would roll to one of the best restaurants in the DFW called Pangea. Please check it out. From there we would Probably end up at the best bar in Texas called bitter end. Hookah and great drinks until 2am. Saturday morning we would prop fine some brunch somewhere and go at it. Its football season so if SMU is in town I would def go on the boulevard and tailgate until game time. Shower up and go hang with the Genuine Family at Bitter end until close. Sunday funday is a real thing in Dallas so its only right that we go back to Bitter End for Brunch and Chill with GH family again and kick it to 8pm.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my story that have been many that helped me along the way starting from my parents to we will say ending with two special groups. One is the integrity elite security service team. when I went full time with the business they always made sure I had a meal or two on the table always. Also My Genuine Hierarchy LLC team. I’ve been Head of Security for this organization for the past two years. So grateful for that partnership that has form from that circle.
