We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Billik and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christopher, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I strive to be open-minded, constantly learning, open to criticism, flexible in my thinking, and easy to work with.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a producer/engineer based out of Dallas, TX. I am on a mission to show the world that Dallas can produce music on an international level. The talent is here and now we’re building the infrastructure.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m all about the food. Anthony Bourdain has been an idol since my early twenties. I would have to get BBQ at Intrinsic, 1050, and slow bone. We’d have to get some chicken at Rudy’s and some Chinese food at Jeng Chi. I’d also have to insist on sushi at Teppo Yakitori and Pizza at Cane Rosso. I also believe it’s a crime to visit Dallas and not eat at Aw Shucks.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All the amazing artists, producers, and songwriters that have trusted me throughout the years. I would be nothing without them.
