Meet Calabrea Rhodes | Influencer & Aesthetic Injector

We had the good fortune of connecting with Calabrea Rhodes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Calabrea, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Honestly, taking risks is the reason Eluxy even exists. I’ve learned that growth doesn’t live in your comfort zone, you have to be willing to bet on yourself even when the odds feel stacked. Launching my business while finishing nursing school was one of the biggest risks I’ve taken. But I knew I had something special to offer, and I refused to let fear hold me back.
Every leap I’ve taken, from investing in advanced trainings to curating my brand from scratch, came with uncertainty, but I trusted my vision. I don’t see risk as something to fear, I see it as a test of how badly you want the life you say you deserve. And I want the whole thing, impact, excellence, and abundance. That mindset is what’s carried me through every high and low. My husband also taught me no risk, no reward! I never looked back.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting to where I am today was far from easy, but every step was worth it. I’ve spent the last eight years working in the ICU, building a strong foundation in healthcare and patient care. That experience taught me discipline, focus, and how to handle high-pressure situations with grace. I’m currently advancing my education, working toward my Bachelor’s in Nursing while building Eluxy at the same time. Injecting wasn’t something I just jumped into. I’ve trained extensively, I’m insured, I work under a medical director, and I take what I do very seriously. This is a profession that requires both skill and safety, and my medical background gives me a deep understanding of anatomy and precision that I bring into every service. There have definitely been challenges. Balancing school, my career, and entrepreneurship takes sacrifice. But I’ve learned that nothing worth having comes easy. You have to believe in your vision even when no one else sees it yet. That’s why I built Eluxy to represent excellence, luxury, and intention. It’s more than aesthetics, it’s a movement. I want the world to know that I didn’t cut corners to get here, and I’m just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I really don’t go out much anymore due to my busy career and life! But I do love a good girl time with some yap! But if a friend came to town I would plan a classy girls week for us. First visit the Joule Spa for a relaxing day. Lunch at Moxies or Komodo in downtown Dallas, then a fun activity like bowling, the Perot Museum, or shopping at North Park. Dinner and cocktails at Perrys, Drake’s or Carbone, then out to have some fun. Maybe a lounge with some hookah and good music like Saaya. Classy, fun vibes!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m an aesthetic injector, beauty entrepreneur, and founder of Eluxy. I’ve always had big dreams and a deep love for all things beauty and luxury. But behind the glam is a lot of grit. I was raised by a strong, independent single mother who showed me what it meant to be a boss early on. Watching her handle everything on her own taught me to get my money, earn my degree, and never settle when it comes to my goals. She’s the reason I have the drive and confidence to chase every vision I have. I also have to shout out my husband. He is the reason Eluxy even got off the ground. From day one, he saw something in me that others didn’t. He believed in me when I was still figuring it all out, pushed me when I doubted myself, and invested in my vision like it was already a million dollar brand. What makes it even more powerful is that he put his own dreams on pause to pour into mine. He’s already touched success before, he knows what it’s like to be close to a million dollar moment. But instead of chasing his next win, he chose to invest in me first. That kind of selfless love, vision, and belief is rare. He made sure I had what I needed to build Eluxy from the ground up, always reminding me that I was made for this. I’m forever grateful, and I know I wouldn’t be where I am without him. Now look at me, almost in the stars. I’ve had women book with me from all over the world, including Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the UK! And when I get to the stars, we’ll both be shining.
