We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Petty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always loved party planning and seeing the final product come to life! Bringing people together in a special and memorable way has always been a passion of mine. After many years of planning all types of events and doing balloons and banners for family and friends I was constantly being told, “you should start your own business with this!” I finally took everyone’s advice and branched out to start Cheers To That! It has been such a fun adventure and so fulfilling to play a small part in helping family and friends create everlasting memories!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets Cheers To That apart from others is that you can book your balloons and matching banner all in one! Cheers to making your party planning one step easier! Everything we do is fully customized to each event’s needs. Every event deserves that extra special and memorable moment, which is where we come into play! We pride ourselves in making sure every client feels their decor is something created uniquely for them!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My ultimate Dallas day would start off with coffee from White Rock Coffee and a walk around White Rock lake followed by lunch at Hudson House. I love everything on their menu, but the burger and a martini is a must! Don’t sleep on their mac & cheese! For the afternoon a stroll around Northpark for some shopping or an afternoon Rangers game would be on the itinerary. Dinner would be at Las Palmas for margs, queso, and enchiladas to close out the day!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband and my mom have been the biggest support system for me! From helping me creatively squeeze balloons into my car to late nights and early mornings, Cheers To That would not be a success without them!
