We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Beven and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anthony, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was diagnosed with HIV and cancer back-to-back in 2016-2017. After treatments, I detoxed my body through plant-based eating, high pH water, specialty supplements and detox therapies. I restored key-cellular level functionality inside my body, and when my story got out others were coming to me for help. I started out as a brick-and-mortar business in metro Detroit in 2017, and after COVID shutdowns, I only do virtual coaching and consulting from my website, www.detoxdayspa.com.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is health coaching specializing in assessing client’s cellular-level dysfunctions and then creating plans based around nutrition, supplements and detox therapies. I think what sets me apart is a certification in live blood analysis, and deep understanding of nutritional science, including enzymes, gastrointestinal physiology, minerals and more. Starting your own business is never easy. You just have to follow what your heart is telling you. I think it’s important for people to know that they are responsible for their own bodies.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Restaurants, parks, movie theaters are always good choices.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The book that helped me gain clarity and manifest a new life for myself was called “The Power,” by Rhonda Bryne. She wrote “The Secret,” too.
