Meet Allisiana Davis | CEO & Founder of Leista Publishing & Company, LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Allisiana Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Allisiana, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The single most important decision that I made was to walk this journey fearlessly. I’ve already lived almost three decades in fear. I knew the best gift I could give myself for my 30th birthday this year was finally following my dreams.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I’m asked about art, I get anxious about the answer. Art is so profound… it’s unique. It’s random, it’s healing, it’s my truth. My art resonates within the music I’ve released since releasing my first book. My resonates with the pain I’ve been so transparent about for so long. Not for attention, but to tell my worst enemies I actually understand. That’s the beauty of art. The power within it. I’m most proud of creating my company after being laid off due to the pandemic. I used the vision from my grandmother and created a publication company that respects artists while molding them to be their true self. We create music for the soul, not skin; and we have mastered success in ways that would seem hard. We just want to teach the people how, because we are for the people. My art resonates with the pain I’ve been so transparent about for so long. Professionally, it has been tough. I mean, I funded everything merely off $1500 and have been flipping it ever since in my catalog, music streams, and clients. I’m overcoming challenges everyday, because there’s always competition. There’s always speculation. There’s always something. But, what’s worth having without a little pressure? The lessons I’ve learned the way is just to continue to be myself. God is the greatest, and I am truly thankful He took the time to give me this vision. I want the people to know that I am aspiring to raise enough money to fund a storefront. To build a foundation for the people. I aspire to turn people into legends, because we were all born to be one. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ahhh.. In Austin, Texas: I’d probably take them to breakfast at Juan in a million, located in the heart of East Austin on 7th street. We’d probably catch some artwork at the Umlauf Sculpture Musuem and catch a good workout at Fitness Connection Tech Ridge in Pflugerville, Texas. Since I train there, my people can come in with me and enjoy the pretty cool amenities. Since we’re in Pflugerville, we must check out Tony’s Jamaican for Lunch and follow up at either 11 Degrees or Eskimo for a dranky drank. (IYKYK) Fading into the evening, you can always catch a good movie at Galaxy on Airport for less, and follow up for dinner at Y’alls… they literally have the best soul food, live band, drinks, and customer service. I want to take the time to extend my condolence’s to Y’all’s Manager, LaCrisha Smith, who passed on 11.22.2020. Honestly, I only came back to Y’all’s when my fiancee’ first found the restaurant was because Ms. Smith was such a joy to be around. May her soul rest in peace. Listen, leaving Y’all’s you’re probably going to have the itis and want to go to sleep. So we can wake up and make sure we attend church services at Friendly Will Missionary Baptist Church in Georgetown, Texas. … and yes, you are remaining in Austin, Texas while doing all these. We’re a huge capital

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
On behalf of Leista Publishing & Company, LLC; I want to extend a few shoutouts to the following organization and brands. These brands means a lot to me as I do see them rising to the same vision I embody. I do not speak with majority often, but I do see them from afar and I am proud: –
