We had the good fortune of connecting with Alison Ezell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alison, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I think it’s important to take risks in life. Whenever there are risks, there is also opportunity. Perception is everything but your perception has a great deal to do with your environment. I’ve had to take many risks when it comes to progressing my business forward. Did all of those risks turn out in my favor?, absolutely not, but one thing I truly believe in is failing forward and learning the lesson. The more calculated risks you take the closer you will come to accomplishing your dreams, goals and desires.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business entails wholistic living on all levels; Mentally, Physically, Spiritually, so I aid patients in living in their truth through chiropractic care, nutrition, detoxification, mindset and exercise. I got to where I am today by the grace of God and that burning desire that was place in my heart to fulfill my purpose on this earthly realm. I am most proud of a book that I will be publishing this year. Everyone has a story to tell and I hope that my story can heal and inspire others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were coming to visit, I would definitely take them to experience the city life. I love going to the farmer’s market to shop and try all the different cultures and variations of food (vegan/vegeterian of course lol). I would also love to have them experience Klyde Warren Park that offers free workout classes and yoga session on the lawn on the weekends. I also love going for walks and having picnics at White Rock Lake.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give my mentor some credit and recognition. This individual came into my life at the most opportune time and taught me things I never would have imagined learning. I have learned other skills and have also increased my knowledge on various subjects through reading. This individual deserves credit because they believed in me and saw things in me that I, at the time didn’t even see in myself. They pushed me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and it has overall made me a better human being, Woman and Doctor.
