We had the good fortune of connecting with Trey Chapman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trey, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
There where so many food bloggers that I wanted to be a food blogger that cold make a real difference in the culinary world. I have over five decades of food experience and I wanted to apply that when writing about food and chefs. Trey’s Chow Down has blossomed not a TV Show, Radio Podcast Show, Website and food segments for major networks promoting creative chefs and delicious dishes.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe in being positive taking a positive approach to food and chef reviews. My family has been in the food business for over 100 years. trey has taken his foodie experience and applied it reviewing restaurants, chefs, cuisine, special events, and is involved in Top Chef. Trey also host Trey’s Chow Down LIVE. A T.V. and Radio podcast show featuring celebrity chefs, mixologist and restauranteurs. I personally have over five decades of food experience and I’m passionate about telling the world about my awesome chef and delicious food finds. We are always on the hunt for next best dish, chef and restaurant hosting the deliciousness.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I will take him to some of the hidden spots and some of the most popular spots and one hidden spot that is my secret chow down spot. We would try everything from pasture rasied beef to farm raised seafood that is loaded with deliciousness.
