The most important lesson that being an entrepreneur has taught me is that I am not special! I know that sounds crazy because I am trying to “sell” things from my business but definitely hear me out. I realized in my long-standing 17 year career as a hairstylist that all I wanted to be known for was that something “special”, the “IT Girl!” if you will! Sure maybe I was briefly, in my own world. I have the most original, most thoughtful, most amazing idea for a business!…A Flower Truck!” Did a little research and guess what?! Little did I know and to my awe and amazement, not only was there a little flower truck in my city but they were ALL over the nation! So many of them! I was then just excited that people out there where having some good business luck with this supposed “original, super special idea” of mine! So I launched it and never looked back!
