How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Our community is comprised of some absolutely brilliant entrepreneurs and so we asked a few of them to tell us the story of how they came up with the ideas for their business.

Chipp Golf Co. was actually the byproduct of the COVID-19 pandemic, where everyone was quarantined at home with very little to do while people across the world were suffering. Golf became one of the few havens for people to get outside, exercise, socialize, and feel a sense of normalcy. Starting my own business was something I had always dreamed of doing. I had a passion for a particular product or service and I wanted to be able to bring that to the world. I was also interested in the challenge of running a business, learning how to market and promote my products, and building a customer base. I love to knit and crochet. I’m always working on something. Friends started asking me to make them things, and one friend invited me to a craft fair to sell what I make. So I decided to make what I love doing into a business. Read more>>
