Ples Montgomery IV | Harbinger of The Oak Cliff Veggie Project
My favorite affirmation comes from the movie “Attack The Block” The affirmation is “ALLOW IT” This is a favorite of mine due to the storyline of the movie, and the way they used it. Also I discovered this with my brother and we started using it whenever we had something important to get done. It’s a reminder to do what you can for whatever you want to accomplish and allow it to happen even if you don’t know it exactly how to get it done or if what you are going to do will workout. Megan Moore | CEO of The Love Within Us, Empowering Self-Affirmations
This is such a great question! I love quotes and I am in the affirmation business. I have a clear understanding of our mission, and the needs of the thousands of clients we serve each year, because I have been a cancer patient – and am now a survivor. My husband has also survived cancer, and I was his caregiver. And sadly, I lost my beautiful and vibrant daughter to cancer, just 16 days after her 21st birthday. These experiences guide me as a leader… and in essence, my pain has become my superpower. Read more>>
Erin Meskill | Pole Dance Performer, Producer & Emcee
Yes I do actually! “Do things with passion, or not at all. Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” I think I was in high school when I first heard this quote and it just resonated with me. I’ve always been very passionate about things that I enjoy. I’m either all in and it’s all I can think about until it comes to life or it doesn’t happen at all. I like this quote because I can relate to it and it reminds me to focus on the things that matter and to follow my dreams. Read more>>
