We had the good fortune of connecting with Yudiria Arreola and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yudiria, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?

Well I see it more as it chose me. I’m not bragging, but in school I was very good in art class from sketching to pottery. After graduation I picked up craft hobbies just because I enjoyed the satisfaction of the end result. So when lash extension application videos came across on my phone while watching TikTok, I was amazed on how something so simple on your face can make such a difference. So i went and got them done. My self-esteem went up. I felt beautiful and confident, and I wanted to make others feel the way I feel when I get my lashes done. So thanks to TikTok I am now a Lash Extension Specialist.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I’m excited about this industry and how far it has gotten, and non the less how far some one can get by giving other women (and men) so many opportunities from becoming lash artists, entrepreneurs, to inventors. I’m definitely proud of Texas for having the Eye Lash Extension Specialty License. It was not hard, but not easy if that makes sense. Everything takes time and hard work for things to work out the way you want them to be. Procrastination will get you no where, I learned that with time, as I would hear my children asking why we couldn’t afford certain thing or go certain places.
I want my clients to now that BeYudi Lashes is here for them, and when they get a service I’m here to listen. You need peace and quiet? You will have that as well! Not to mention that I will alway look out for the health of my clients natural lashes. I want my brand to be a supporting brand, not only for women but for all who is in need.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well I come from a hispanic culture, and taking in consideration that my family and I moved to north Texas back in 2018, we have not been out to many places. But Trader Village is a fun family friendly place to spend the after noon, and the Huaraches there are delicious. You will enjoy live music, and if you are and antique collector, you will find a treasure or two. El Cartel Taco Bar is al so a great place food. It is amazing! Some nights they have live music and the drinks at the bar are the bomb!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All my hard work is thanks to my parents Erasmo and Olivia Arreola because of there love, support, and encouragement. I look up to them because of the hard workers they both are. Having no responsibilities for anyone but themselves, they still work two jobs each and even sometimes work 6 day out of the week. I love them so much. Shoutout’s to my sister Brizaida Arreola and Patricia Rodelo for always encouraging me and all my crazy ideas. Love you Sisters! To my Best Friend and the love of my life “my husband” for putting up with me and my crazy ideas. And I want to thank everyone in my life, in one way or another they contributed in me being the person I am today. Last but not least to Gabriela Guajardo owner of @glancelashacademy and @glancestudio for always being there for all her students… even after they finished their eyelash extension course, her doors are alway open after. Her energy is just so amazing. I’m so grateful of meeting her and all the the girls at Glance Studio where I am currently located. Once again thanks everyone.
