We had the good fortune of connecting with Renee Huffman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Renee, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
I made a key decision to eliminate fear and failure and step away from Corporate America to become a full-time entrepreneur and a CEO of my destiny. I firmly adhere to four entrepreneur success points Believe,Take A Risk,Focus and Determination. I have applied each key point and now I’m on the road for success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the CEO Of Dressed N Dignity a non-profit organization established in the fall of 2017. Our mission statement is to restore and empower women to walk in excellences in business, community, and family life. We provide adequate dress attire, communication skills, and necessary etiquette training as needed. Our vision statement is set forth to transform and enhance the lives of each woman as she becomes a mirror that reflects the next generation. Since the existence of Dressed N Dignity, I’m extremely thankful and proud to say we have professionally made-over multiple women and transformed their lives by planting seeds of hope.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother (Betty Jackson) is truly my super hero. In her life she faced many obstacles and challenges.But, she decided to take ownership of each challenge and persevere. Having a mother with a high caliber determination, richly configured the woman, I am today. I will continue to fight the good fight of faith until I finish.
