We had the good fortune of connecting with Virtta Elizabeth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Virtta, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been an Esthetician for over 6 years and during those 6 years I’ve worked for very major Spa’s and Waxing Studios. Over those years I’ve noticed how little these big names can make you feel and how little they can really value you and your skills. No matter what in this industry you have to pay to work , no matter how you look at it right, so why not pay myself all my coins I worked for. I had been so scared to start my business that I was counting on my failure before I even got my feet wet. I had several talks with myself and god and I felt as through he wouldn’t put something like this in my heart and mind if it wasn’t meant for me . So I just did it, I quit my esthetician job at that time during the start of the pandemic and stepped on faith. I’m so glad I did too.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m proud that I made a decision to have faith and bet on myself, I’m excited to bring woman the opportunity to feel more confident in their skin. It definitely wasn’t easy getting here, the biggest challenge being a entrepreneur is dealing with the “What if’s” and the times things don’t go the way you thought, and getting over imposter syndrome. I would say INVEST IN YOURSELF, period .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ohhh so fun. First stop got to get food I love seafood so we hitting up Flying fish, everything is so good and fresh, I love second floor bar in Dallas at night the scene is amazing , I actually love escape rooms, and maybe hit up Andretti to have some fun .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My first shout out would be to my mom she is literally my #1 supporter on my life no doubt . She definitely lifts me up when I’m down. I feel like god truly speaks through her when my mind is filled with fog. She is the meaning of “Make it happen”. My other one would go to Ashley Hunt owner of Rosies Beauty spa, she was willing to take a chance on me and help me become my own business and always encouraging me to take risk .
