Hi B., what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is networking and consistency. Since my entrepreneurial career, I’ve realized that having like minded individuals in your corner will propel your business forward faster than just utilizing your own individual opinions. I believe that vision without execution is hallucination, so when granted opportunities to participate in workshops, fashion shows, photoshoots, branding expos, or holiday events, that allows me to broaden my perspective and accept constructive feedback from the network of creators. Additionally, this helps me develop my audience and determine which pieces from my collection will flourish in the retail market. What I’ve also learned is that sometimes the journey may not always make sense, but a person shouldn’t wait to understand why they got started. By allowing myself to have faith, recognize my talent, treasure my connections, and be consistent with my time, then I have already begun to leave my legacy and impact lives. Overall, with preparation comes elevation.

What should our readers know about your business?
B Supreme Clothing is a business dedicated to discovering your inner beauty within, while manifesting each dream, because vision without execution is hallucination. What sets us apart from our competitors is our brand ambassador program and offering our clients the opportunity to create their own products through graphic design. Quite often our clients have a clothing idea that needs to be printed, but don’t have the resources to start. With my business, we encourage each customer to follow their passions, while providing all the materials needed to get started. This idea was created because I used to be a person who lacked the resources and materials when looking to start my business. I come from a very small town full of criminal activity, low funding, and hindered mindsets. Creating a business has not always been an easy transition, but I had to know within myself that what the present looks like is nothing compared to my future faith. Since the establishment of my business, some lessons that I have been able to learn are to develop a strong marketing team, include a paper trial when beginning to close financial deals, and always choose your business affiliates wisely. I believe that our connections influence our direction.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was in town, some great places to utilize for fun, food, and photo shoots would be the Dallas Arts Museum in Downtown Dallas. It is free and surrounded by the museum are tons of food trucks along with Klyde Warren Park, so we could walk around and work off all of that good food! From there we would enjoy the city life and also go to Vidorra for drinks. To close out the night, we would enjoy the nightlife in Deep Ellum! There is always so much to do in Dallas!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly I would like to give my shoutout to God! I wouldn’t be where I am without having His presence in my life. With my unwavering faith, I have been able to grow my business around the US in locations such as California, Texas, and DC to name a few. Sometimes all it takes is encouragement from a higher presence and speaking positivity over every endeavor in your life to make your dream become a reality.
