We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracy Dawson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tracy, what principle do you value most?
I believe that the values and principles I possess make me the individual I am today. Some of the core principles I keep would be to believe in yourself if no one else does only you can make happen what is meant for you. Always have integrity behind anything you do or say. One of my favorites is to know thy-self before knowing others. These 3 key things make up a big part of who and what I am today. The reason behind why i chose to speak on these specific topics reaches all the way back to when I was a kid. I would always hear you have to believe in yourself you can be anything you want to be in this world just get a good education and it’ll all work out. I came to realize that in some cases it may be true but that wasn’t the case for everyone. As i got older I realized that people really didn’t know what they wanted to do or what they could accomplish simply based on the fact that they didn’t know themselves. How could you believe in yourself if you’re not aware of your own capabilities how could have integrity if you don’t know who you’re looking at in the mirror every day these are things I would ask myself. As time past I learned what core values and principles mattered to me the most and within that, I was able to build my Agency on these same core values and principles and I teach them to any and everyone I come in contact with whether you’re a client or just someone looking for direction in life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Lucky One Agency was founded with the simple goal of uplifting and empowering fellow entrepreneurs. The journey of the Lucky One Agency Legacy draws wisdom from numerous individuals from unique walks of life and various calibers of businesses. Lucky One has used that knowledge to achieve success in consulting, project management, networking, and promoting others. The journey wasn’t an easy one by far but with the right people, a little bit of faith mixed with some fight is enough to get what you need to be done. Some of the lessons that I have learned personally would involve always having a student mentality learn every day all day as much as you can. You’re either green and growing or ripe and rotten. Something else that I consider to be a lesson in my journey would be to always remain humble and be good to people. no matter how high you go how much success you obtain the biggest thing to come from it all when you leave this earth will be how did you treat people. I want the world to know that just like me we all have a purpose we have all something buried within us that is meant to change something in the world we live in. The hard times the battles the failures all those things are meant to put pressure on us to bring that greatness out of us. I’m Just looking to be an advocate for the everyday person that forgets they matter and have a purpose I allow them to live vicariously through me and hope of them being influenced to do the same for themselves. I want my brand and business to stand on those exact same aspects and continue inspiring forever.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes with me always meeting great people day in and day there are some that have just made my journey that much easier and make the hard days not so hard. those organizations and people would be Networking Knights which is a Non-profit helping support inner-city youth in Dallas with programs support and resources ran by Issiah Thomas Jr another organization would have to be Nu Wayz LLC Which is an organization helping reclaim tribal benefits also specializing business registration, credit restoration IRS debt and much more ran by K’in Way Xi or Jason. Another big part and help to my story would be the Owner of Globe Vision Inc. (an Event Production, Broadcasting, and Talent Management Company) Darlisa Diltz Founder Of NTEEC and TheCenterNTX she is a lady powerhouse making great things happen in the city Also major shoutout to My Beastly Media Director Matt Dawson These are the people that really count and matter.
