Meet Cheyenne Seitz | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cheyenne Seitz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cheyenne, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote is “change what you can’t accept and accept what you can’t change”. This quote is something that has helped me a lot in my life, but also as a business owner. It helped remind me to fight for what I want in life.
When owning a small business this is obviously so important because, no one will ever be more invested in my business than I am.
The other half of this quote is the hardest part for most people, including myself.
Having to allow things that are out of my control be, and learning to be at peace with it.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love to think what’s sets me apart is my drive to stay connected to a client. Take photos of the special moments in their life. I have clients that I have started out with and I now know very well. I am aesthetic to be at the point I’m at now even though I have much more room to grow I have worked incredibly hard to get here. It really came down to brut dedication and sacrifice. Sacrificing time with family and friends to work, get my name out there and being an advocate for myself.
I pride myself on my constant effort to be personal and fair to all the clients I meet. Although being fair has not always been an easy balance. I had to learn the difference between being fair and being taken advantage of. I had to learn that just because I’m a small business doesn’t mean I have to give in to things I don’t think are a positive image of my business.
What I would love for everyone to know about Sincerely Yours Photography is that, I genuinely love what I do. I have always adored the idea of capturing a moment in time and making a memory something a little more permanent. Now it’s my job and I get to make people happy with photography.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely bring them to Dallas,Tx. Dallas has so much to offer from Deep Ellum to gorgeous parks like Lakeside. I would love to fill our trip with eating at locally owned restaurants, walk around sightseeing, going to the gorgeous Dallas aquarium and do a paddle pub crawl. These are just some of the few things I would love to do!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout definitely goes to my husband, who single handedly got everything I needed to start this business, as he knew it was my dream. He has continued to support me with all of his heart through every learning curve, late night, and advice seeking moments. He is and always have been my rock and biggest supporter.
