Meet Kendra Young | Spiritual healer & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendra Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kendra, how do you think about risk?
I think risks are choices that develop ones character and enforces change and growth to show up for yourself . Accountability is exercised as well as while believing in unseen force to have things come together.
Risk has personally been a factor in my life on all levels as a women and my personal growth on knowing who I am choosing how long to be in relationships on all levels and creating healthy boundaries and communicating effectively . As a mother parenting differently then I was taught .Taking risk Career wise has influenced my confidence and belief making decision to aid in my growth and skill set and opportunities that will provide change . Inclusion I some up risk as being a constant changemaker of not allowing you to get comfortable but keeping you in a space of uncomfortability and expanding you always no matter what the outcome is because you can always grow with the mindset and perception of knowing that failure is really about learning what you still need to develop so risk is that choice that you choose to take.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Entrepreneur By heart I grew up in a family of Entrepreneurs that then let me to become a cosmetologist because in my family my grandfather had started One of the first black on hair salons in the northwest. I always knew that I wanted to work for myself and creates things that would help people so I set out to be a cosmetologist because I was going to be a designer but little did I know that the universe God however you communicated had a different plan for me cosmetology has groomed me and shaped me into the spiritual advisor I am today being able to communicate and listen and tune in to my clients beyond just doing their hair helped Open of the avenues to spirituality and also creating products like body hair products hair care products that were natural and healing. On my path I was also introduced to other tools and helping aid myself and others and emotional healing and being connected to something greater than one Self. In return that has influenced me to create my own wellness practice that integrates holistic care physically mentally emotionally and spiritually and it’s definitely been a gift to be in service to those that identify as women. I intend to be in service by teaching you can heal yourself and create safety awareness in who you are mind , body and spirit.
