We had the good fortune of connecting with Ada Crenshaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ada, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my business because I was laid off. I worked in the Aerospace & Defense for 21 years and never did I think I would be laid off. In the past, I dragged my feet when it came to starting a business because I was working a full-time job. But I feel that God gave me the push I needed. It was my time.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Nfinite Legacy Mobile Notary is a Texas commissioned Notary Public and state-certified, private loan signing agency. Our mission is to help you sign and authenticate your most confidential legal documents easily, safely, and conveniently.

The services we provide are a great fit for individuals, real estate agents, title companies, law firms, and senior living communities.

Nfinite Legacy provides fast and easy mobile notary, remote notary, and loan signing services to both individuals and corporations.

What sets me apart from other businesses, is that I have 21 years of experience working with the Department of Defense. The Department of Defense entrusted me with a security clearance for 21 years and that stands for something. I handled very sensitive information with care and discretion. This translates to my ability to handle loan documents and other legal documents which contain a person’s sensitive and private information. All the lessons I’ve learned along the way have helped me get to this point.

While working in corporate I learned what to do and what not to do in business. [In the future] I will not treat my employees like numbers or a line item on a balance sheet. I will treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve. Employees are human beings…this seems to be a lost concept these days.

My company is very customer-focused. We treat every client like family. When you do business with Nfinite Legacy we want you to feel like you’re the only one and your needs are important.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I like to do things spontaneously at times. So, I can give some suggestions on what to do in Dallas.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my dad (who is in heaven) and my mom. They are my “WHY”. Having my mother’s support is so special to me. She is the one who told me to go for it. She wanted me to start my business. She saw what I went through with my last company; the toxic environment and how it affected me.

My parents taught me to go after what I wanted; not to complain about my circumstances if I could change them; never doubt myself, and give myself grace. Without them by my side and cheering me on, I don’t think I would be where I am today.
