We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Vilaysack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I really wanted to be my own Boss. Of course there was fear behind it. It took some time to really make that leap. I knew it was time to conquer that fear and see how far I could go.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am a private chef based out of Plano Texas. I would say being an entrepreneur has been a little challenging but rewarding. It has really been a learning experience. I think my biggest advice for an entrepreneur is, go for it! Set your goals, accomplish them and keep adding more.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Welcome to Dallas! Let’s hit up a lounge or bar in deep ellum. Go to my favorite Korean spot in Plano off of 15th street.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My dedication & success is all owed to my parents and my children. My parents have always taught me that hard work really does pay off. My beautiful kids have always encouraged me to keep striving for better.
