We had the good fortune of connecting with May Maggitti, Taylor Black, Maya DeBruce, Cindy Ante and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi May, Taylor, Maya, and Cindy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
No one becomes successful completely on their own. Many leaders attribute their success to the team that stands besides them and supports them. Working together and collaborating with others will help you identify your own strengths and weaknesses, you can learn and inspire from one another, and lend a helping hand when schedules get tight or life gets rough. NextGen Real Estate prides itself on the team of diverse agents that make up the brokerage. Each of us steps up to the plate when another agent needs help with a showing, hosting open houses, sharing market knowledge, etc. Although we are individual agents, we still act like we are a part of a team at NextGen Real Estate and that’s what makes us so successful.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our unique marketing and new age mentality is what makes NextGen Real Estate stand apart from more traditional real estate brokerages. We successfully utilize the internet and social media as one of the main ways to communicate and connect to our audience on both a professional and personal level. It is also an excellent channel to inform and educate the public on market updates and showcase we are local neighborhood experts throughout the DFW metroplex. We are especially excited to grow NextGen’s Dallas team–at this time we have four agents that are experienced in helping clients buy, sell, build, invest, and lease and are looking to expand the team furthermore.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
What better way to welcome your friend to Dallas/Fort Worth than to start them off with high tea at the Downtown Dallas historic Adolphus Hotel. Even if there’s no time for tea, you won’t want to miss seeing the impeccable architectural design and decor at the Adolphus. On a sunny day, taking a stroll on the Katy Trail and hit up Katy Trail Ice House afterwards for their famous patty melts with an ice cold beer. We always enjoy visiting the Dallas Arboretum, especially in the spring time to see the fully bloomed and colorful tulips. Pro tip: bring a picnic basket with some wine, cheese, and crackers and people-watch for the rest of the afternoon. Grab coffee from a neighborhood favorite coffee shop, La La Land, and get your fitness on by taking a pilates class at Studio 6, followed up by al fresco dining at Le Bilboquet or Paradiso. Don’t forget to explore the mid-cities between Dallas and Fort Worth, like Irving, which is where a traditional Japanese restaurant, Mr. Max, is located and it’s to die for! Make your way east to Cowtown Fort Worth where you can enjoy a Mexican lunch and a margarita on the picturesque patio of Joe T’s. Take some time to revel at the special art exhibitions at the Kimbell Art Museum or just grab some ice cream from MELT in Sundance Square and listen to live music. Close out the night at the famous honky-tonk Billy Bob’s and dance the night away to some country music. Whatever your vibe is, Dallas/Fort Worth is certainly a place you’ll want to visit as it has so much to offer.
