We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Petty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
I love this question! The things that bring me the most joy in life are what excites me and motivates me. I could be having a terrible day and all I have to do is incorporate just one of things and my mood instantly shifts!! Family walks with our golden retriever, listening to music, working out- pilates, running, walks with baby in the stroller, anything creative, being outdoors, traveling. I could go on! It’s amazing how the smallest things can brighten your day and change your whole vibe.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have a health, wellness and lifestyle blog where I share our everyday life, healthy recipes, home decor and personal experiences. Health and wellness both play a huge role in my life and I love sharing my journey with others in hopes to encourage them to be the best version of themselves. My husband and I also just recently opened our new business, VIO Med Spa, in Richardson and that’s been our newest project this year! It’s been so much fun working together and growing our new business!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely all things outdoor! Hiking, brunch on a patio, walking the pups on Katy Trail, grabbing drinks after at Ice House, maybe a little HIIT workout in a park- keep it fun!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my husband! He motivates me like no other and sees the potential that I don’t necessarily always see. That’s the best part about marriage though- two complete opposites coming together to make the other better. He has been my #1 fan since the beginning and sees accomplished dreams for me that I haven’t even envisioned yet! I love his support so much. I am so thankful for him!
