We had the good fortune of connecting with Erion Goins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erion, how does your business help the community?
Cookie Sticker Co has had such a huge impact on the community! As a Black Woman owned business we represent inclusivity and representation . It is imperative that little Black girls everywhere know that they can accomplish their dreams and build an empire all their own. My most popular Washi tape to date has been the Black Lives Matter roll . This is a step in the right direction. The proceeds from the sales were donated and as a “Pay it forward” another business in the community matched the donation! It warms my heart to know that Cookie Sticker Co has made an impact so great towards my community and the planner community as well! We are creating a community built on unity and equality.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is representative of Black Women everywhere. I definitely had some rough beginnings in my business . Not everyone understood the need for Black creatives and a space for women of color to buy the products that they love. I remained persistent and continued to do what I loved ! I never gave up and I fought harder to be heard . I eventually got my break and became recognized for my work in the community. The rest is history. I am determined to continue to grow and network!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
