Meet Zeke Jeremiah: CEO/Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zeke Jeremiah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zeke, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think that the most important factor behind our success as a brand is the love, respect and hardwork we put into this, and countless others we encounter. We are huge on making others feel valued and appreciated. As a Production Company, UTS is adamant about proving great customer service to all actors and crewmembers and business clients. We are very relatable and have fun onset while also keeping the professional dameanor. With that, none of the success comes without mentioning some key people that has helped in making sure we are a thriving brand during this building process. Amber Natasha, who is our CFO (Chief Financial Officer/ Producer , Edward Antonio, as our Composer/Producer, Kathleen Smith, as our Head writer/Producer and lastly Cecilia Brush, who has been a wonderful Consultant. They keep this train running and I am elated about the work that has been done so far and looking forward to many more. Our Goal is to be a Brand that is revered for our passion for others and film along with the high quality we bring to the table on all accounts, to also be ones that push the envelope of respecting others and creating a safe heaven for adults and our young ones we work with frequently.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
This has not been easy by any stretch of the imagination, but it has definitely been worth it! So many sacrifices have been made and wouldn’t change it for the world because I’ve gained so much experienced met incredible people and get to do what I love. I want the world to know that our brand is unique. We are known from having a great time and also being there for others outside of the scope of film. I have a hashtag that I use sometimes that says #Beyondthefilm because to us we want to keep that human interaction, though we work we also treat others as people and not just titles which is often misrepresented by others that are so concerned about titles and power and that’s just not how we do things. Though titles are important to organize your project, with us everyone gets treated equally regardless of what title is anyone holds. I feel that’s what sets us apart and would love for the world to know outside of us being a production company that films projects.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This journey has been a rigorous one no doubt and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without some amazing people helping me along the way. I am forever greatful for some that have helped me through a season and some that are my rocks still to this day. Thankful for Fred T who has been a friend through this process. He is extremely creative and has been a great encouragement. Thankful for Amber Natasha though I mentioned her before she has really been one that tells it like it is and has been very encouraging and motivating despite being so busy herself She has definetly been a huge part in what is going on with UTS. Grateful for Jae Dyer who has really been a guidance of wisdom as a new filmmaker. He has been very insightful and has pushed me to be better at my craft, along with people like Melvin Johnson Jeffery Watson and Marcus Photog who are also working in this industry and are an inspiration themselves in seeing them overcome obstacles in there own right. Thankful for my friend Edward though its not been long he has been an extreme impact in teaching me things and sharing wisdom in how to deal with circumstances that may arise in the industry. I can go all day with the wonderful ppl that have left and continue to leave and everlasting imprint in my journey. So to the remaining; Kathleen Smith, Cecilia Brush, Jasmine Joi, Eric Riggs, Roshaun Paige, Anthony Spurgin, Larry D Johnson jr, Deborah Kay Hooker Jackson, Bronson Wilson, Michael Green, Aj Resh, Kittening Rina, Alicia Underwood, Jacqueline Blacklock and Kelly Turner. grateful for these people they have been there during this film journey.
