Meet Rothstein Beatz | Grammy Voting Member & Music Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rothstein Beatz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rothstein, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
That’s a great question. I believe the single most important factor behind my success is consistency — not just in producing music, but in showing up, building relationships, and serving my community. I approach my craft with the same discipline as a full-time career. Every day, I’m creating beats, releasing projects, managing my label, Casino Gang Records, and hosting my podcast so that my audience consistently hears from me. That steady output has been essential in turning listeners into long-term supporters and clients.
Equally important are relationships. Talent alone only goes so far; collaboration is what creates lasting impact. Working with artists such as Papoose, Trev Rich, and Miesha of 702, and contributing to projects like The Cookout, has expanded both my reach and my credibility. The recognition and opportunities that came from those projects — including millions of streams and Grammy consideration — are a direct result of building those connections. Music is, at its core, a people-driven business.
So, if I had to name the single most important factor behind my success, it would be consistent, purposeful action — creating music, nurturing relationships, and serving the community every single day. Everything else, from streams to awards to media recognition, follows naturally from that foundation.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets my art apart is versatility and authenticity. I don’t box myself into one sound — I can move from soulful boom bap to radio-ready production while still keeping my signature. My influences run from Nottz and Just Blaze to Pharrell and Timbaland, but my goal is always to create music that feels timeless and inspires both artists and listeners.
I’m proud of the doors my work has opened — producing for legends like Papoose and Miesha of 702, collaborating with rising stars like Trev Rich and Yellow Zoo, and contributing to The Cookout Vol. 1, which hit over a million streams and earned Grammy consideration. I’ve also built my own lane through Casino Gang Records, projects like Almost Platinum, and the Rothstein School of Beatz, where I teach kids about production. For me, it’s about legacy, not just placements.
The journey hasn’t been easy. The industry is crowded and full of challenges, but consistency, faith, and resilience kept me going. Along the way, I’ve learned that relationships are just as important as talent, and that betting on yourself is non-negotiable. At the end of the day, Rothstein Beatz is about more than production — it’s about building community, inspiring change, and leaving a lasting mark on the culture.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
week in Dallas would be the perfect mix of food, culture, and nightlife. We’d hit Pecan Lodge for BBQ, Fuel City for late-night tacos, brunch at Bread Winners, and dinner at Nick & Sam’s. Days would be spent exploring Deep Ellum’s art scene, the Dallas Museum of Art, and catching a Cowboys, Mavericks, or Rangers game. Nights would be all about the vibe — live music in Deep Ellum, rooftop lounges in Uptown, and a legendary Dallas day party on the weekend. By the end of the week, you’d see why Dallas is one of the most underrated cities in the country.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
“I want to dedicate this shoutout to my mother, who passed away, but whose lessons from my childhood and teenage years still keep me focused on my goals and determined to never give up on my dreams.”
