We had the good fortune of connecting with Armel Lawani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Armel, what principle do you value most?
Respect, greatest advise I can offer is trust people to be people, actions change base upon emotions, the only exception is respect, blood or not I will always give the most respect because we all went through the same obstacles in spirit to make it into this world of existence, but once I loose respect for you, you are non existent to me and the only way I’ll loose respect is if you have no values or morals in life

First stop would be BMG barbershop in Richardson TX for a cut from DR. Swanz one of the coldest barbers in the state of TX, been going to him for 10+ years, during the week will stop by at D Jackson’s barbecue with the best beef ribs in my opinion, and then Terry Blacks in Deep Ellum with the best chopped beef in the city of Dallas in my opinion, The Margaret Hunt Hill bridge is another destination with exquisite views and lovely restaurants in the Trinity Groves areas, like Saint Rocco’s which is my favorite and etc… to explore during the week, of course the Dallas maverick stadium and the cowboys stadium to enjoy the vibes of the city, and on the weekend go to the Stockyards in Fort Worth for a vibes of the western Texas vibes.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The environments I grew up in and was raised in molded me to who I am today, my business drive was an inspiration from my mother Honorine Sognonvi, since a kid I’ve always had love for music or the creative arts in general, stepped away for a while but was convinced by friends likes Adonius Gillikin, Jacoby Taylor, even family members like my cousin Walter Sognonvi ( Young Dex) and my mother, with my mother I thought she used to say I was gifted just because she was my mother, but as life progressed I realized I truly was gifted with the creative arts, she showed me an award I won for best trumpet player back in elementary school at Forest Lane Academy , with it their was a note from my music teacher that told her to keep encouraging me to stay involved in music, but as I got older life took me in a different direction when I came back to creating I ended up finding that letter my mom kept it packed safely, when I was moving I found it and read I laughed because it’s funny how life worked
