Meet Jamie Smith | LMT, MTI

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jamie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Taking risks came extremely easy in my adolescence years when I held little to no responsibility, especially when it comes to finances and consequences. But when I became an adult, a wife, a mother, those financial risks and unknowns became overwhelming and too much of a gamble. I have always been confident in my passion for knowledge when it came to helping others, but I lacked the sheer leap of faith it took to step out on my own for twenty years. It took divine intervention, an extremely toxic work environment and desperate need for change mindset to finally follow my life long dream of starting my own business.
Now that I have accomplished that, with the experience I have gained, the confidence I have built and the support of my clients and family, the dream doesn’t stop there. Its ever growing. Limitless.

What should our readers know about your business?
“Passion is the heartbeat of my business and brand.”
From the beginning, this business wasn’t about offering a service, it was about sharing something I genuinely love. My passion fuels every decision I make, from the way I treat my clients to the quality of the experience I deliver down to the smallest details. It’s not just about making a profit; it’s about making a difference.
Whether it’s the healing power of massage, the calming atmosphere I create, or the personal connections I build with every client, that deep sense of purpose shows up in every detail. Passion is what keeps me innovating, improving, and pouring energy into creating something extraordinary.
That authenticity, that fact that this is personal and meaningful to me, is what shapes the brand. It’s not just a name or logo: it’s a reflection of my values, my story, and my drive to help others feel their best.
My realtors are passionate about realty. My Score mentor is passionate about entrepreneurship. What I have learned most is that surrounding myself with passionate people who excel at what they do has been the key to my success. When people genuinely love what they do, it shows, in their work, in their attitude, and in the ways they connect with others. By building a team driven by passion and purpose, I have created an environment where excellence comes naturally.
Each person brings their own unique strengths, and together, that energy fuels growth, innovation, and an experience that clients can truly feel. Passion isn’t just something nice to have, it’s the very foundation of everything I have built.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would not be where I am today without the support of my family and friends(Mike Smith, Rolan Jones, Angie Flemings, Dana Stewart). They are a key part in my success story, Many of my clients are successful in their own right and it was their stories and belief in me that led to transitioning myself to a business owner (Claudia Hutchinson, Mike Hamilton, Nina Essex), Facebook groups and forums for massage therapists(Texas Massage Therapists, Massage Therapists of Texas), answered many lingering questions and still help me today. Other people who are passionate about what they do ensured my success as well, for example, my realtors (Danae Owens, Kalyn McKittrick) and the folks at ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). SCORE Fort Worth, is an amazing program. They have CEOs and mentors that volunteer free time and coaching to steer you in the right direction, They also offer business workshops to help you on your journey.
