We had the good fortune of connecting with Terraneka Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Terraneka, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite quote would be my favorite scripture from the Bible Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Being a follower of Christ this quote gives me constant reassurance that everything we go through in life is all apart of God’s plans for you. It may not always feel that way while you’re going through trials and tribulations, BUT his plan is to prosper you and give you hope for what’s to come.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud about the consistency I’ve shown over the past few years. There was a time in my life where I would start things and never finish. I’m proud of how far I have come in a short amount of time by being my true self. My community gets to see the good, the bad, and the ugly from me and I appreciate the support no matter what. Anything worth having is never easy. I have doubted my purpose and abilities with creating content. I have had to overcome my own doubts and fears of being “seen trying” or not having life figured out. If anyone comes across my platforms I would hope they feel encouraged to go after their dreams, never give up, and always show up for themselves! I’m in a season of rediscovery and I hope my content shows, it’s never to late to become the version of yourself you desire to be!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ok, let’s see. DFW has so many areas and options to choose from. We would have to go to my favorites places to eat which is Kitchen and Kocktails, Southern Gourmet Kitchen, Kenny’s Wood Grill, Red Claws, and The Common Table for brunch. For fun activities I would recommend Cosm, World Springs, there are many museums to visit. For a night out my favorite spot is Good Vibes Only, I also have a great time there. One of the most interesting things I see in the city is the different social groups that have been created. I look forward to exploring more community events soon.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My online community I have built over the past two years have poured into me in ways I couldn’t even imagine. The amount of love, support, and encouragement I get from all of over has encouraged me to keep going and continue sharing my life online. You never know who is watching you and whose life you may have an impact on just by sharing your authentic life and experiences.
