We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Balmaceda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was in the culinary business for over 20 years working for hotels, catering companies, cafeteria’s services etc in 2019 me and my wife decided to use all that experience and open or own catering.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love cooking and make people happy with my food. We are so proud of our work and our catering for over 6 years and now our little breakfast and lunch restaurant we opened our doors in Gunter Tx back in Abril 2024
It’s has not been easy to invest our money but it’s necessary to growth and along the way you win and you loose but the most important is to do what makes you happy and keep our customers happy and enjoying a culinary experiences

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would recommend them to visit small towns and eat in small business. Also any lake, park or natural spot is always great. I also enjoy eating in steak houses because I love good service and quality food but when we travel we enjoy typical food and also support our local business.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I appreciated all my learning from international culinary school in Italy and also our employees, family support specially my wife Marisol she works along with me. She does all the administrative and customer service.
