We had the good fortune of connecting with TheKingsDragon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TheKingsDragon, what inspires you?
I’m inspired by the lack of creativity in music these days. I feel no one stands out, no one wants to be different. I’m inspired by the dragon as I was born in the year of the dragon. A great mythical beast, a symbol of power and mysterious. The mask I wear pays respect and homage to the dragon as I’m just a host and my mission is to deliver.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I can share my life and stories. I can share my aspirations and as well as my mistakes and flaws. As I hope someday I am able to guide others who might of been on a path I was on when younger. I hope to be a leader who others will choose to follow and believe. As I strive to be best I can be not just for myself but for my community.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If they are not from Texas then I would have to take them to whataburger for sure. One of my fav burgers. Dallas has alot of museums I would either take them to the Perot science museum. Science was actually my favorite subject in school. Another spot would be The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum A samurai museum.i always been obsessed with martial arts, with Bruce lee,ninjas, and samurai. Might be one of the main inspirations behind the mask I wear. Deep ellum for a drink and to catch a music show as they have many great venues in the area.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’s few people that have stuck with me from the beginning who keep me motivated, Who show support every chance they get and I appreciate them for that. Every random person that has ever came up or sent a msg expressing appreciation for my music. For my art. Definitely my family as they have always stuck wit me no matter how crazy my journey might seem. One person for sure would be DopeTheMusic, my producer. Met him since 3rd grade, been making music since high-school and still working hard at it to this day. Thanks for the push whenever I need it.
