We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Craddock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, how do you think about risk?
I believe to truly LIVE you must take chances. Every great opportunity in my life stemmed from taking a risk. When I started The Cat Room Recording Studio, I bet my life savings on that business. The studio ended up bringing me life altering clients and opportunities, whether it was writing platinum selling songs in conjunction with Universal Music Publishing or producing, recording and mixing top tier artists and bands. Each new experience at the studio leads to another exciting opportunity!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Producer, Songwriter and Musician. I have had the distinct honor of writing multi-platinum songs in The Cat Room Recording Studio with a gamut of songwriters, bands and artists. I also play lead guitar in the Grammy nominated rock group, Daughtry. I have learned to be a pliable producer, co-writer and band mate whose only goal is to achieve the best outcome for each scenario. Fun side note about the name of my studio, The Cat Room Recording Studio- it was given this name by my children when they were small and my studio was in our first home. My beloved cats had begun to pick at our furniture pretty badly and in an effort to stop that from happening we would keep them in the back bedroom when they were unattended- aka my studio. My daughter Anna and my son Riley would always ask why Dad was always in “the cat room”- my brand was born!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Anytime I have friends come to Nashville, I tell them they HAVE to check out Robert’s Western World to hear some of the best musicians you’ll ever hear and while you are there, grab that friend bologna sandwich! Another fave classic restaurant in Nashville is Brown’s Diner, probably my favorite burger in town!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Dedicated to my family who have supported and helped me every step of the way! Love you Holli, Anna and Riley!
