We had the good fortune of connecting with Naseeb Sidhu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Naseeb, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson our business has taught us is perseverance. Opening a medical spa wasn’t just a goal of ours- it was a huge leap of faith. There were moments when the uncertainty felt overwhelming, especially with so many moving pieces to manage, unexpected challenges and a steep learning curve.

We have learned that pushing through those tough moments, even when things don’t happen as quickly as we hoped or exactly according to plan is where the real growth happens. It’s kind of like skincare- results take time and consistency, but the payoff is worth it. This lesson of perseverance applies to so much in life, whether it’s running a business or personal goals like fitness or learning something new. You just keep showing up, doing the work, and trusting the process.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Venus Medical Aesthetics is a labor of love and a reflection of our passion for helping people feel confident in their skin. What sets us apart is our focus on truly understanding our patients’ needs and delivering personalized care. We don’t just offer treatments; we build relationships and create customized plans that align with each person’s goals. We also strongly advocate for patient safety. All of our providers are licensed professionals. Our Medical Aesthetician has 7 years of experience, and is also a professional level Laser Technician. Our injector is a Physician Assistant with over 15 years experience in Aesthetics, including Dermatology.

What we’re most proud of is building something completely from the ground up. We are not corporate owned, we are locally owned and operated. We didn’t let being new to aesthetics scare us away- instead, we committed to making a footprint in this space. It’s been about putting in the work, learning and growing every step of the way, and overcoming challenges head-on.

We’re still nowhere near where we want to be business-wise. We just opened on October 14,2024, and every day is a hustle, every week brings new battles, but we keep grinding. This journey is just beginning and the sky is the limit.

One important lesson we’ve learned along the way is that running a business is about so much more than just opening your doors and running a few ads. You have to get out there and connect with your community. We’re constantly looking for ways to spread the word about Venus, whether that’s participating in local small business events, fitness classes, or bridal shows so we can make those face to face connections. Building those relationships is what makes this journey so rewarding and we’re excited to keep growing and serving our community.

We want the world to know that Venus Medical Aesthetics is built on passion, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin, Our brand isn’t just about offering treatments- it’s about creating a space where people feel valued, cared for, and empowered.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’d plan the ultimate week to show off everything that makes our area special! We’d start with a relaxed day in Historic Downtown McKinney- grabbing breakfast at Layered, checking out all the cute boutiques and antique shops, and then have dinner at Harvest, which is such a gem with its farm-to-table menu.

Another day, we’d head to the Farmer’s Market in Dallas- I love the collection of wholesome produce, artisan pastries, handmade crafts, and awesome collection of businesses and people that come together. While in Dallas we might also check out the arboretum, explore Perot Museum and maybe grab some Velvet Taco for lunch. We’d end the day with sunset drinks at HG Sply Co’s rooftop.

One of my favorite days would be a day of shopping at Highland Park Village and North Park Centre. We’d follow that with a fancy dinner at Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse.

Of course, I’d have to take them to Venus Medical Aesthetics for a little self-care because who doesn’t love a good facial or pampering session? And I’d definitely take them to Adriatica Village- it feels like stepping into a little European town, and it’s so pretty.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our family has been an incredible source of love, encouragement, and mentorship- sharing their experiences in businesses and always being there to guide us when we needed it. Our friends have offered support, cheered us on through the ups and downs of this journey. But most importantly, our 2-year-old son, Navan, deserves so much credit. He’s our biggest motivation, making even the hardest days worth it. Everything we do is for him- to set the best example, to show him what hard work and perseverance look like, and to build something he can one day be proud of. He pushes us to show up every day and strive to be better.
