Hi Long, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting our own business was rooted in a desire to revolutionize the nail industry. We recognized the challenges faced by nail techs, salon owners, and customers alike – from exorbitant prices to a lack of innovative products. This realization ignited our passion to create SHi®, where superior craftsmanship, high-end elegance, and innovation converge. Our mission is to empower nail techs, salon owners, and customers with innovative tools, time-saving techniques, and a supportive community. Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At SHi®, we’re dedicated to revolutionizing the nail industry with our commitment to superior craftsmanship, high-end elegance, and innovation. What sets us apart is our unwavering passion for excellence and our relentless pursuit of pushing boundaries in nail art.

We take pride in our innovative approach to product development, constantly striving to exceed customer expectations and create unique, top-quality nail art essentials. Our journey to where we are today has been filled with challenges, but each obstacle has only fueled our determination to succeed.

Overcoming these challenges required resilience, adaptability, and a strong belief in our vision. We’ve learned valuable lessons along the way, including the importance of perseverance, embracing change, and listening to customer feedback.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If my best friend was visiting, I’d want to show them the best of Dallas, combining natural beauty, culinary delights, and vibrant city life. Here’s an itinerary for a week-long trip:

Day 1:
Morning: Start the day with a stroll through the Dallas Arboretum, enjoying the peaceful nature and stunning landscapes.
Lunch: Head to Klyde Warren Park for lunch at one of the food trucks offering a variety of delicious cuisines.
Afternoon: Explore the arts district and visit some of the nearby galleries and museums.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at The Oceanside Seafood Room, indulging in a personalized menu and champagne toast to kick off the trip.

Day 2:
Morning: Spend the morning shopping at Galleria Dallas, exploring the trendy shops and upscale boutiques.
Lunch: Grab a bite to eat at one of the many dining options at Galleria Dallas.
Afternoon: Continue shopping or head to NorthPark Center for more shopping and dining experiences.
Evening: Relax with dinner at one of the upscale restaurants at NorthPark Center, soaking in the classy atmosphere and enjoying a delicious meal.

Throughout the week, I’d want to show them more of Dallas’s vibrant neighborhoods, such as Deep Ellum for its live music scene and eclectic vibe, Bishop Arts District for its charming boutiques and cafes, s Dallas’s famous Tex-Mex cuisine and barbecue along the way.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are several individuals and groups whose support and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the journey of SHi®. Their passion for excellence and commitment to innovation inspire us to push boundaries and redefine the nail art experience.
