We had the good fortune of connecting with Nulu Cristian Don Juan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nulu, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Deciding whether to keep going or give up depends on your desires. Sometimes, you might feel exhausted and ready to quit. But if you still have a real desire to succeed, it’s worth pushing through.

Honest reflection is key. This means looking at your situation logically and without bias. Don’t be too negative or overly positive. Find a balance and be truthful with yourself.

You’ll know it’s time to give up when you no longer have any desire to succeed, and continuing feels forced. If you’re just going through the motions without any passion, it might be a sign to let go.

If chasing a dream interferes with your basic needs, consider pausing rather than giving up entirely. Taking a break can help you come back with fresh energy and focus.

In short, listen to your heart and your desires. If there’s still a spark of passion, keep going. If that spark has faded, it might be time to move on or take a break.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is Cristian Don Juan, but I am professionally known by my stage name, Nulu. I’ve ventured into multiple creative fields: I’m a dancer, choreographer, actor turned entrepreneur, film producer, and realtor. All of these experiences have helped me become versatile and adaptable, allowing me to bring passion and dedication to every project I undertake.

From a young age, I dreamed big. I had many hobbies and interests, finding it hard to stick to just one thing. People often doubted me and suggested I focus on a single path. Growing up, no one took me seriously because I wanted to do so much. I wanted to believe I could do anything, which often led to people seeing me as naive. This fear of not being taken seriously was a significant challenge, but I always held on to the hope that things would work out.

My brand revolves around versatility, adaptability, and inspiration. I know I take on a lot, but that’s just who I am. I love having multiple ventures and pushing through doubt.

I started my journey mainly as a dancer, choreographer, and actor, focusing solely on my own path. Driven by ambition, I never really thought I could help others. I was primarily concerned with advancing my own career. Then, an opportunity to lead Starconz Entertainment Group came along, which changed everything. Becoming the co-owner of Starconz helped me discover the leader within myself and realize how much I enjoy inspiring others to believe in themselves and grow to achieve their dreams. This experience also taught me valuable skills in business, sales, and production. This transformative journey eventually led me to start Nubeview Production and become a realtor.

Real estate came as a bit of a surprise to everyone, including myself. My goal with real estate is to earn capital to reinvest into my other ventures like Starconz and Nubeview. I approach real estate with the same passion, striving to help clients find a place to call home. I am proud to be considered “The People’s Agent.”

Starting and managing these businesses have been incredibly rewarding, but my journey hasn’t been without its emotional struggles. The constant doubt, fear of failure, and the emotional toll of not being taken seriously were tough to handle. There were moments of feeling overwhelmed and questioning my path, but I persevered through honest self-reflection and staying true to my values. I’ve learned that being adaptable and open to new opportunities is crucial.

Ultimately, my story is one of resilience and passion. I aim to inspire others to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. Starconz Entertainment Group and Nubeview Production are built on these principles, providing platforms to foster talent and create opportunities, mirroring my own journey of growth and self-belief.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
That is a hard one! It really depends on who I’m with. But there are a few places and activities I always find enjoyable!

Some of my favorite spots to eat are:

Carrollton: La Salsa Verde, Manna Shabu, Manna Korean BBQ, Gen Korean BBQ House, and Joe’s Pizza Pasta & Subs.

Dallas: La Hechizera.

The Colony: Shaka Hawaiian BBQ.

Or we could go to a local coffee shop; I don’t have a favorite, but I love exploring different local spots.

For activities, we could hit up a roller rink if they’re into it. I’ve visited many in the DFW area, but since I lived close to the Lewisville Interskate, I would often go there. We could also catch a Soar Championship Wrestling event. They pop up at different venues around DFW; you can keep up with them on IG @soarchampionshipwrestling.

I also enjoy local dive bars or a chill cigar lounge. If they want to dance, there are plenty of nightclubs in DFW. I don’t have a favorite because I’m into all kinds of music, from hip hop and pop to house and Latin genres like bachata, salsa, and cumbia.

Honestly, I hope I’m answering this question right!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people who have helped me along my journey that I could be typing for hours trying to mention everyone! I want to start by recognizing the amazing Talent Roster of Starconz Entertainment Group (SCEG); without their contributions, Starconz would not exist. Their dedication and hard work are truly the heart of our success.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to the incredible team behind me at Starconz Entertainment Group. Their commitment and effort are the backbone of our operations. Additionally, I want to acknowledge the fantastic team at Nubeview Production, especially Erick Orellana and Brandon Ortega, for their invaluable contributions.

Special thanks to Lesley Davis and N’ertia Dance Company for always being supportive and generous with her space. Tony Adams has always been so supportive throughout my career, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

Additionally, a shoutout to Rezoloot, a new company we’ve partnered with, for their collaboration and support.

And, of course, my mom, for always being there for me lol. Thanks, Mom!
