Hi Abby, what principle do you value most?
One value that matters most to me is integrity. Integrity forms the foundation of trust and respect in any relationship, whether personal or professional. When someone operates with integrity, they demonstrate consistency in their actions, aligning their behavior with their beliefs and values. This consistency fosters reliability and accountability, essential traits in achieving success and building meaningful connections. Personally, I strive to uphold integrity in all aspects of my life because it not only reflects my character but also contributes to a positive and ethical environment around me.

What should our readers know about your business?
Pixel Parlour is where creativity meets entrepreneurship. We take a creative and intentional approach to help you articulate your value and story with strong visuals and a modern brand identity.

We began as a photography studio. While we excel at capturing artistic images with a modern feel (cue the headshots, and fashion and editorial photos we specialize in), we knew there was more.

We exist today as a creative agency that helps businesses develop a brand identity that’s deeply rooted in purpose and driven by connection. We help you find what makes you feel unique in your business and prioritize your value to build a brand that impacts and influences authentically.

Our goal is to help you unearth your why and reach your ideal clients. We know that when your brand excites you, you’ll stand out and confidently show up for your clients.

As the Founder and Creative Director of Pixel Parlour. I’m also a visionary, educator and multi-passionate creative.

Like you, I’ve had to wear many hats, some of which I’ve thankfully retired. I won’t list all the hats I’ve donned in the past, but I will tell you this: it was after pulling back the curtain on the dreams I had tucked away that I found myself and realized that I could go from broken to business.

I get starting small. I get pivoting. I get rebranding. I’ve had to do it in my life and my business.

How many dreams have you tucked away?

Starting my business meant investing in my dreams, and we know that sometimes the most difficult thing we can do is risk it all on ourselves.

Of all the hats I’ve had to wear, confidence is the one I’m most proud of.

Today, I’m proud to be a Filipino business owner and leader who creates a space for others to chase their dreams because I dared to chase my own.

That is what I want for each of my clients. My job is to empower you to grow by shortening your journey to success with connection-driven and results-focused strategies that have worked for my business.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A perfect day in Dallas consists of good food, scenery and activities. It would look a little something like this:

In the morning, start your day with a visit to Klyde Warren Park, a beautiful urban park in the heart of downtown Dallas. Enjoy a leisurely stroll, take in the views of the city skyline, and stop by Ascension Coffee.

In the afternoon, head to the Dallas Museum of Art, which offers free general admission to its permanent collection. Explore a diverse range of art spanning thousands of years and various cultures. Take a couple célfies, it’s free too.

Next explore the Bishop Arts District, known for its eclectic mix of shops, galleries, and restaurants. While you’re there, grab lunch at Oddfellows, which offers gluten-free options like salads, sandwiches on gluten-free bread, and more.

Before the night ends, head to Victory Park, the vibrant neighborhood surrounding the American Airlines Center. The area is buzzing with activity as fans start to gather, sporting Mavericks gear and chatting excitedly about the upcoming game. You join in the pre-game festivities, soaking up the atmosphere and taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling crowd.

Lastly make your way inside the American Airlines Center, feeling a surge of adrenaline as you step into the arena. The air is charged with excitement as the crowd erupts into cheers and applause, ready to cheer on the Dallas Mavericks to victory.

You find your seat among the sea of blue and white, eagerly awaiting the start of the game. The energy in the arena is palpable as the players take the court, and you can’t help but feel a sense of pride knowing that you’re part of something special.
