Hi Andy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
In my opinion, you have to take a risk to live a fulfilled life. Put one foot in front of the other and worry about facing today, not tomorrow. Herb Keller said if you don’t change, you do. Part of life if is taking risks!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a small business entrepreneur and shareholder of Shandy Holdings, I am proud to lead a company that is committed to delivering exceptional results and value to our clients. What sets us apart from others is our dedication to providing real-life, proven best practices that drive success and growth.

My journey to where I am today business-wise has been anything but easy. However, through hard work, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, I have overcome numerous challenges to build and grow our business! My experience as a Senior Director in the business processing outsourcing industry, where I supported the World’s Most Valuable Brands, has provided me with invaluable insights and expertise that I bring to every client engagement.

One of the lessons I’ve learned along the way is the importance of adaptability and innovation. In an ever-changing business landscape, it’s crucial to remain agile and continuously evolve to meet the needs of our clients and stay ahead of the competition.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My recent visit with my best friend Gayle Chong was a blast! While we didn’t have time to explore all of my favorite spots, here are some highlights that I would recommend for an unforgettable week-long trip:

Catch a thrilling Mavericks game for some exciting sports action.

Wrap up the week with a cozy gathering by our pool, surrounded by local friends and family.

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to a remarkable group of individuals who have played instrumental roles in shaping my journey: Shelly Wilson, Gayle Chong, Dr. Linda Wiley, Dave Gregory, Shane Williams, and countless others. Their wisdom, support, and unwavering belief in me have been invaluable inspirations.

In their presence, I’ve been deeply moved by their life stories and the resilience they’ve shown in overcoming challenges. Their collective influence has instilled in me a desire to make a positive impact on others and to pursue entrepreneurship with passion and purpose.

One powerful lesson they’ve imparted is the importance of looking forward with determination, rather than dwelling on the past. They taught me that the rear-view mirror is smaller than the windshield so don’t look back. The road ahead is vast and full of possibilities, and that with perseverance and vision, anything is achievable!
