We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacy Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stacy, why did you pursue a creative career?
After being a nurse and immersed in the medical field for the past 20 years, I decided it was time to dive into something I truly loved—creating unforgettable experiences in the event industry. I mean, who wouldn’t want to work with top-notch marquee letters, set up luxury picnics and provide epic event rentals, right? It’s all about channeling my passion into a new venture while still being in the business of helping others, just in a different way. But let me tell you, it’s no walk in the park. Long hours, working nights and weekends, sacrificing time with friends and family – all to bring our clients’ visions to life.
I’m putting my heart and soul into this journey, hoping for a successful business, all while meeting amazing clients, vendors, and discovering stunning venues along the way. Sure, it’s challenging, but I’m all in. Strategic planning and making every customer feel special are key in navigating and providing quality service in the event world. Life’s too short to do anything less than what drives, motivates and makes you truly happy and fulfilled. I’m willing to take a risk to follow my passion.
Here’s to the adventure!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My commitment to setting my business apart, is through a strong work ethic, dedication, and efficient communication which is invaluable. Providing top-of-the-line marquee letters and event rentals is one thing, but your focus on swift and effective communication with clients and potential clients truly distinguishes your service. Focusing on building a reputation for reliability and excellent customer interaction is a powerful way to stand out in the competitive event industry. Your dedication to client satisfaction is the cornerstone of your business’s success. Always stay positive and be punctual. This industry can be a rollercoaster!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Absolutely! Don’t miss The Star in Frisco, especially if you’re a Cowboys fan. It’s not just about football; there are fantastic restaurants and bars there too. You can catch a game, enjoy great food, and soak in the lively atmosphere. Then enjoy Uptown Dallas as they offer trendy bars and lounges. The Bishop Arts District in Dallas has a cool, artsy vibe with unique bars too. Last, venturing into the Stockyards in Fort Worth is a must!! Explore Mule Alley, the historic charm, shops, and dining options create a unique experience. And speaking of dining, Joe T Garcia’s is a classic choice with its delicious Mexican cuisine. Don’t forget to check out the nearby Drover Hotel, the ambience is to die for. The blend of Western heritage, great food, and a touch of luxury.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Especially thankful for the love and support of my husband, parents, kids, family and friends.
