We had the good fortune of connecting with Lori Harding and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lori, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Innovation and consistency. When starting out I wasn’t too consistent . Now I make sure to show up very often for my audience online. When making recipes and setting up content posts i’m intentional and innovative by making my photos more aesthetically pleasing. I have people reaching out to me for meal ideas, where they can get the best vegan options in Dallas and my opinions on vegan products. I pride myself in helping people out and showing them the easiest way possible to incorporate more vegan options into their diet.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a content creator , what sets me aside is my specific style of photography skills . A follower could look at a photo that I’ve taken of a recipe and not know I took it but know the photo is mine because I’ve worked hard to brand myself to a unique image. I would say how I got to the point I am at is consistency and showing up to my purpose and calling each and everyday whether that be brainstorming recipes and content, collaborating with brands , and practicing with my everyday meals to set up the best food photography possible. There are days when this is challenging and having support , faith and endurance helps to keep going. What i want the world to know about my brand and story is that what I worked for wasn’t handed to me , I am still growing and I am a hard intentional worker when it comes to content creation. I am still learning the ins and outs but I am always here to help with vegan lifestyle and recipes.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So first we’d go to Halcyon Dallas and have lattes , maybe a mimosa flight and some amazing vegan brunch I’d want to take them downtown to Klyde Warren Park and see the Eye downtown. Hit up the Statler Waterproof Rooftop Bar to take amazing photos. We would have to hit up Deep Ellum and check out all the amazing shops bars and eat lunch at TIKI LOCO Lastly end the night out at Hero’s for an island vibe and dancing.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God,The Dallas Vegan Community , My Parents, and Fellow Bloggers I’ve been able to connect with.
