We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica D. Maine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica D., how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Over the years, my approach to work-life balance has evolved considerably. Early in my career, I was swept up in the enthusiasm of new projects and opportunities, often stretching myself thin. However, as I’ve gained more experience, I’ve come to appreciate the value of balance as an essential component of long-term career success and personal well-being.

I’ve shifted from a constant ‘hustle’ mindset to ‘harmony.’ I believe that life is not a sprint; it’s more of a marathon. The key to long-term success and well-being is finding a balance that allows you to excel in your professional responsibilities while nurturing your personal growth and relationships. To achieve this, I’ve set boundaries on my work hours and prioritized investing time in family, hobbies, and self-care.

The ‘hustle culture’ that glorifies overwork and constant busyness is not sustainable and can lead to burnout and decreased productivity over time. By focusing on harmony instead, I aim to create a more sustainable, fulfilling career and a richer, more balanced life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a strategist, business consultant, and certified life coach, my holistic approach to empowering individuals in all aspects of life sets me apart, from business to motherhood. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it has taught me the importance of authenticity and balance.

I value authentic relationships and the power of clear communication. My deep-rooted passions enrich my coaching approach: the transformative essence of music and the emblematic strength of the white tiger. These elements symbolize creativity and resilience and infuse my professional advice with a unique perspective, providing a coaching experience that addresses your personal and career aspirations.

The key lesson I’ve learned is the value of balance, and that’s what I want to impart to my clients. I’m here to help you find your own rhythm in the complexities of life and work, enabling you to live authentically and successfully.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, the journey to where I am today has been a collective effort, and I have been fortunate to have incredible support along the way. Today, I’d like to give a special shoutout to Sunnie Ward of Sol Co Studio. Working with Sunnie has been a transformative experience for me and my brand.

Before collaborating with Sol Co Studio, my digital presence lacked the cohesive and professional look I envisioned. Sunnie took the time to understand the essence of my brand and designed a website that not only elevates it but also is something I’m genuinely proud to showcase. The impact of her work extends far beyond aesthetics; it has instilled a sense of confidence and excitement about the future of my brand that I didn’t have before.

Her creativity, professionalism, and knack for truly ‘getting’ what I was trying to convey have made her an invaluable part of my journey. It’s rare to find someone who can seamlessly merge vision with execution, and I couldn’t be more excited to have her as part of my brand’s story. Sunnie and Sol Co Studio definitely deserve a share of the spotlight for helping to shape my path and contributing to my success.
