Meet Nikki Camille | Graphic Designer and Makeup Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Camille and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikki, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to create graphics and images that could be timeless for brands. Offering clean and detailed images that can grow with the expansion of their business. Making high end designs and logos affordable to micro businesses in my local area. I wanted my creativity to be executed in a professional way that helped others reach their entrepreneurial goals.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art comes from my heart. I create my all my graphics off original design and brainstorming from various inspirations. I often incorporate music, nature and food into my work! My makeup artistry comes from my love of all things glamorous and beautiful. The ability to elevate a woman’s natural beauty with cosmetics always stood out to me and to help a woman feel her best was a feeling nothing else brought quite like makeup artistry. I have faced many challenges with tough competition in a growing city but managed to stay in my own lane. When a field is saturated with artist it’s easy to feel blended with the walls. As an artist you must remember that there are millions of talented artist but there will never be another you with your artistic spin. There is always room for your talents. I want the world to know my brands stand for self expression in the most unapologetic way. Nothing comes before divine timing and the love you pour into yourself shows through what you put out into the world. So be beautiful in all ways, always!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love to take a friend to the Fortworth stockyards. Can never go wrong with some antiques shopping, old school candy, food southern eating and some country scenery to get a good feel of Texas! Another beauty we’d have to try is MiMis cafe in the highlands located in Arlington! Amazing brunch and you can shop some great stores while browsing the area.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shout out my daughter. She has motivated me and pushed me passed my limits alongside my fears. Through her I have learned to be fearless, take ownership in who I am and spread my gifts to the world. She has shown me the beauty in art and how it connects you with the people of the world in more ways than one.
