Meet Tiffany Marsh | Singer & Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Marsh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’m truly a lover of music whether that is listening to my favorite record or hearing live music. Since I can remember, I loved to sing and started off like most in my church choir. I would lead songs and eventually become choir director which only fueled my love for harmonies and musical arrangements. In 2018 I was invited to sing in Berlin, Germany and that birth my desire to really start taking music more seriously. After the world shut down due to Covid and a failed relationship, I found myself with time on hand and started writing. Even then, I didn’t realize how impactful those writings would be and after releasing a few on Tik Tok, I immediately went viral. That in itself blew my mind because who would have thought so many people from all over would relate. The rest is history! We’re here now.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
No journey is an easy one so there’s been plenty of disappointment but the inspiration outweighs it every time. I genuinely love music and for me, it’s therapy. I can let it go, let it out and walk away knowing I was honest and open. I’ve learned to trust the process and never stay down too long. Get up and get moving!! To be able to connect with so many people from all walks of life is the most gratifying part of it all. Hearing someone sing the song I wrote means the world and will energize even the weakest battery. To be a kid from Houston that moved to a new city with no family and create a name in the live music industry hits differently for me. I’m most proud of the support I’ve been given thus far,

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Live music is a MUST!! I have a ton of singing friends here in Dallas and one of them are bound to have a show! Outside of performing there, I love going to the Free Man or Sandaga for live entertainment so anywhere between Deep Ellum and Arlington will work for me. I’m also a foodie and love trying new things including those hideout spots. There are so many gems here in Dallas that I’m more of an area person if you will. I enjoy frequenting the Knox/Henderson area for brunch and dinning. I’ve also grown fond of Grand Prairie and the newest developments around Epic.
For a relaxing evening or afternoon, the Beach in Little Elm is a go to! The area is so peaceful and surrounded by eateries you must try.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Before I started uploading to TIKTOK, an old classmate would always tell me that I should use the platform as it would potentially be good for me. I think i blew her off for months until i finally decided to creat an account. Once i did and started posting, my music would go viral and people everywhere would hear it! I owe A. Smith a huge shoutout for staying persistent in something I myself didn’t see the value in. That single platform has brought me so much support for all across the globe. My family has also been very instrumental. My dad is probably my biggest fan, but in secret lol and only because my music is way outside of his age group!! Shoutout to my Pops! I love you, Dad!
