Meet Damondray Christle | Actor & Filmmaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Damondray Christle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Damondray, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
So I’m from Dallas,Tx. Growing up in Dallas you either played sports you were a musician but, you did something. I believe the kids I grew up around we were all made to be great at something. Whether you found that out sooner or later . We wasn’t able to sleep on ourselves we knew who was the athletes or who was good at this or that. So your genuine friends would push you or let others know what you were good at and we stuck with what we were good at or passionate about. We took accountability for one another and we did that as long as God allowed . We found resources to get us to where we are right now and also by being consistent not giving in and not giving up. Overall at the end of the day the choice was yours if you were going to go the long haul and whatever it was you were going to do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I stay in my lane and I root people on as I go along through my own personal journey you know. I’m excited to be wrapping up very soon on my film I created called First Love which is based in the 70s. S/O to the first Love cast and crew y’all are dope! So I was able to get to where I I’m right now by just being consistent and auditioning often. My siblings are talented so I was always around the craft you know it was always in me to act. I wouldn’t say it was easy but, it’s one of those things you got to love what you doing. You have to stay focused and keep pushing don’t give up so quickly this is a continuous Journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love hiking so we going hike we gone maybe hit up a comedy show cause I like to laugh and my friends are goofy like me. Downtown have some nice areas as well to eat at and hang out. I’m growing to like museums more and more so get some knowledge along the way right. Also arcades and basketball for fun you can’t go wrong with having some good sports going on. Oh yea and movie nights with all your friends but, horror movies .

I want to give a ShoutOut to anyone who have ever supported me in anyway. You’re greatly appreciated and I thank you kindly for your love and support toward me. I Appreciate my mother always and her love toward me and my peps.
