We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Litsch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, what matters most to you?
Trust.

I work in closet design.

In order for me to create custom storage/closets that meet the needs of clients I have to see all of their stuff. There is a huge trust factor to have me in your home, going through and measuring/inventorying intimate possessions to create custom storage for them.

It means the world to me that people put their trust in me to create storage/organization that will help improve the flow of their everyday life!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a closet designer.

What sets me apart from others is my passion for the job and the high level importance I place on customer experience, quality product and presence with clients as we work on their projects from start to finish.

The thing about my job that gets me excited is how when you are organized and your stuff has a place and a space- you have more time to do the things you enjoy. The closet is where you start and end your day- if you can get ready easily in the morning and as you get ready for bed, life is more enjoyable.

I have a B.A in Sociology & Criminology. I have always been interested in people and behavior patters but did not know I would end up in closet design!
In my own life I like to organize when I feel stressed or out of place.
I lived in China for a year and as I adjusted to life their I would organize and reorganize my apartment, trying different methods as a way to feel calm. After China I connected with a professional organizer in Tampa, FL and worked with her for a couple years. Closets were always a favorite space of mine! After seeing a few really poorly designed closets I thought to myself ‘I can do this better!”…and I have since 2018!

I moved to Dallas the start of 2022 and have been rebuilding my business and brand here. It is a humbling experience because I am so well versed in the closet world- but my clients live in Florida. Starting again with a different company and outlet has been a major learning and growing opportunity!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends come to visit I like them to experience:

a walk, shop and drink through Bishops arts- Marcel market, the wild detectives, la reunion, Jungle

Museums: Dallas museum of art, Nasher Sculpture Center

Shugs Bagels are life changing

Fox trot has amazing coffee and is a total vibe on its own

Drinks: Bowen House, Woolworth, Sixty Vines

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am so grateful to my parents. They modeled real life practical organization from the beginning. I grew up the eldest of 4. In order to help tame the chaos that is 4 children- everything had a place and a space to be put away.
