We had the good fortune of connecting with Marquise Wiley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marquise, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
The Wiley Show is a show that helps many people laugh and also I bring a lot of good spiritual things to my audience. My business has improved the world because I bring excellent and fun entertainment.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is comedy I am known as SIT DOWN comedian I entertained millions of people a year on my YouTube channel The Wiley Show. I am proud to get noticed in the airport and grocery store. I got to be where I am today because I put in the work every day I am live entertaining my audience. It was not easy because I have so many disabilities bipolar I also have miy eyes that are crossed people judge me daily but it doesn’t bother me because that’s my fuel to keep going. I overcame my challenges by having a good support system and a prayer life. The lesson along the way I learned is life is short you got to put in the work. I want the world to know my show The Wiley Show is a great platform that offers great entertainment. That even though I was diagnosed with bipolar it didn’t kill me I am still here.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
What’s Cluckin is a good fried chicken restaurant in Plano Texas, I love the owner Angie and her husband. It is black-owned and has good food. Also, I love to go to Martys it has good music and good drinks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Book I want to give credit to is Jenifer Lewis Black Mother Black Hollywood the reason I name that book is because Jennifer Lewis talks about her battle with bipolar disorder and that encourages me I battle with bipolar disorder
