Meet Christina caldwell Aka cstaccs | I’m a multi-published freelance model, based out of Oklahoma City. I’m also an esthetician and I just graduated college.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina caldwell Aka cstaccs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina caldwell, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued a creative career in modeling because it itself is an art. I wanted to understand the process that goes behind everything, from light setups to poses. I love creating something from nothing and being able to explore different niches and concepts by reenacting them through my own art.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I want my art to inspire, young woman all around my state and city just want to do something. I am apart of that, but when I actually understood the science behind modeling and photography it opened a new world of possibilities and sparked a passion for me. It boosted confidence, it’s gotten me many places, in many doors and surrounded by amazing people. It definitely was not easy to say the least, I’ve taken breaks when I feel down we all get there at one point. Feeling like no matter how much you post you won’t get the recognition you deserve. Having to realize them likes and shares don’t matter was another big thing! It helps tremendously but they will watch regardless so keep showing off no matter what one day all the posting and hard work will pay off. I want young girls to know, no matter your walk of life, no matter where you come from, if you want it go get it ! Never settle for less and literally reach for your dreams like there’s no tomorrow.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Oklahoma City we have a lot of hidden gems when it comes to food spots! A lot of them are private owned family restaurants, but they serve the best food. If you like sushi, sushi Neko has some great sushi, Japanese, mushashis they cook the food infront of you! If you want to catch a new movie and get served your food and drinks? Flix brew house has amazing food, the chairs recline and everything it’s a good time, (they also have a full open bar). Okc offers plenty of nightlife as well, all you have to do is go to bricktown on a Saturday night and you’ll find fun!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d just love to say thank you to all the photographers who I started out with one in particular Mary Scribner. She got me my first publication, my first cover and back page, with a spread in the middle! It’s always love for her. Also thank you to every single one of y’all who like and share my art. That little bit of support is definitely recognized and goes a long way! Thank you to my friends family and followers, the journey is no where near over !
