We had the good fortune of connecting with Marqi Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marqi, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
My Career so far has taught me to embrace the unknown phases in life. Allowing me to strengthen my faith as well which has developed me in a way to believe I can achieve anything I put my mind to. Knowing now that everything works out in the end. Embracing the roller coasters of life is needed to push you in the direction you want to go!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
People ask me all the time. “How do you get started in the acting field”? Which truthfully I can just say now. Im nowhere where I want to be I’m just further than I used to be. So I’m learning as I’m going like everyone else but what I’ve noticed from my view. The way to get started is to research a lot and develop networking connections with other people who do the same thing you want to do. So when you have all the tools needed you can execute them and then market yourself. Consistency is definitely key no matter what being consistent will get you farther than expected and who knows you never know where you’ll end up in the blink of an eye.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Texas I’d go to my favorite vegan spot called “Spiral Diner”. Also a couple games of bowling to hit the spot.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a big shoutout to “Ash Innovator”- (Ashley Smith) For allowing me to be apart of the lead main cast of a upcoming Comedy/Drama Feature Film Movie “Hoorah 99” 2023 Starring Celebrity Actor/Artist “Ja Rule”.

Mainly because I’ve been ready to get my acting career to take off and my first lead role in a movie is filmed in Brooklyn, New York also it is my first time in nyc. So the fact that I’m in Texas and he still took a chance on me via virtual audition says a lot. Even after meeting him and his family as a whole. I just knew they were tremendously great people with good hearts wanting to do great things out here in this world. I’m just honored to be apart of something Special!

I also want to shoutout the amazing talented Cast & Crew. So many people with great hearts is a amazing feeling to work with and be surrounded by. I’ve definitely developed life long connections and I can’t wait to see us all grow!
