We had the good fortune of connecting with Chauntel Vital and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chauntel, how do you think about risk?
I see risk as a survival skill some people got it some people don’t. I believe you will never know until you take the risk. Risk has gotten me into doors by simply asking, risk has gotten me into doors by having faith and being unaware of the outcome.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art would consist of my individuality that I carry, what I mean by that is the energy I attract, and the light that is given to me by God, it spreads when I am in the room and I humbly know that because I’ve been told, I was created to be set apart. I would be lying if I said being a model was easy, I envisioned everything being handed to me until I received No’s and corrective criticism and in the moment I needed to sit down and analyze everything. I officially realized only I can represent myself and that’s when the risk came into play. I want the world to know that my art is made of love because God is love so when you are surrounded by my presence and art you are surrounded by acceptance and being free.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
From Cali to Dallas my friend has officially arrived for the first time in the city, here is our Itinerary. As she gets off the plane at 2pm of course I had to greet her to bottomless mimosas and lunch in Downtown Dallas or what we like to call it Deep Ellum. Deep Ellum is one of the top bar hopping tourist areas in Downtown, as we go to Stirr and drink bottomless mimosas we get a view of Dallas and the skyline. After bottomless mimosas we wrap it up by walking Deep Ellum for an hour to get pictures for content purposes, then head to the Hilton Anatole for check in , after getting settled in it’s time to to officially relax at the elegant Hilton Anatole, they have a lazy river pool and multiple outdoor activities who said fun had to have a price tag. After spending 2 hours in the lazy river we freshened up and had dinner at a top notch restaurant called Kiss where my friend Djs at, from there we met pretty friends and partied till 1am. Next morning we went morning swimming and I took her to the Dallas aquarium because it is a must view type of scenery! Then we caught up on life, ordered door dash and stayed up late watching Netflix. As Wednesday approaches I of course had to introduce her to my friends so after swimming and shopping for half of the da, what better way than to have a sip and paint with all the girls and dinner. Thursday morning we were tired of hotel food and ready for Mexican food so we made our way to a different city for good food and a pretty view we ate at Hugos were the sell the freshest chips and salsa, from there we stayed in the city and walked a random lake because that’s what wandering people do. After burning off our calories at the park we made our way to deep ellum to play arcade games while drinking and making new friends to end the night. It’s officially Friday morning and we wake up sad knowing she is departing after our morning swim and breakfast we decided to sign up for outside yoga together enjoying one another’s company and female energy after yoga we showered and I took her to an Instagrammable rooftop for lunch called the Virgin Hotels as we took photos laughed and replayed the memories, from there it was time to take her to the airport but before she leaves I gifted her with something physical to remember Texas, what’s better than a Bucees dad hat and if your a Texan then you get the joke.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout to a specific group of girls I call my life group we have been together for 3 years and our mission and vision is to do life together and fulfilling our destiny God has for us we celebrate together, support each other, hold each other accountable and committed.
